There is only one you. Only you have your own medical history, your family history, your habits and your lifestyle. So when you are seeking reassurance about your health, the assessment you have should be tailored to you and those risks that you carry personally. Personalised health checks give you the specific tests and advice you need to make important changes and stay healthy for as long as possible.
How I Can Help
I offer personalised health checks where, after a detailed consultation and examination, I build a picture of you and those health risks that you personally are likely to carry as you get older. During this consultation, if you have any specific concerns I will be happy to discuss these with you.
Together, we then look at relevant medical investigations you might need and I will organise these for you. The tests might range from blood and stool tests to imaging such as MRI scans or invasive procedures such as endoscopy and colonoscopy. Which tests we pick for you really does depend on what your risks are at the time of consultation.
Once we have the results, I will go through these in detail with you in a follow up consultation and recommend specific lifestyle changes you might need to consider. I will also discuss regular ongoing checks you need as you get older. If you require any further tests or referrals as a result of the initial tests, I will organise these for you.
The idea is to help you detect potential disease such as cancer or heart disease early as well as making changes to your lifestyle to keep you fitter and healthier for longer.
I also offer single issue or multi-issue consultations if you need to discuss a problem or problems requiring one or more referrals to specialists. I can offer you prescriptions, organise tests or refer you to leading specialists if needed.
Consultations take place at 10 Harley Street. Investigations take place at either 9 Harley Street or nearby on Wimpole Street.
If you have private medical insurance, your insurer may cover the personalised health checks and referrals for tests or specialists. You should check this with your insurer.

Cancellations
You can cancel your appointment anytime before it is due to start. Please contact my secretary to either reschedule your appointment or obtain a full refund.
About me
I am a family doctor based in Harley Street. With over two decades in general practice, my special interest is in preventive medicine.
I qualified from the University of London, from St.Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospital as a doctor in 1995. Following my house medical and surgical jobs, I worked in internal medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology. Thereafter, I completed my family doctor vocational qualifications in 2000 and obtained certification that year.
Since then I have worked as a general practitioner in London. I believe in a friendly and collaborative approach with my patients.
Although a lot of my work involves diagnosing and treating numerous conditions, my special interest is in preventive medicine and the rapidly expanding field of the human gut biome.
